These are the qualities I endeavor to impart in every treatment session.  My work is grounded in the training and experience I have gathered over the last 25 years.  Having been  licensed and certified in California as a Reiki Master/Teacher, Acupressure Practitioner, Trager Bodywork Practitioner and massage therapist, I have a deep well to draw upon for each individual healing treatment, including my study of Medical Qi Gong.  I have worked extensively with people experiencing stubborn physical issues, people in transition in their lives, people of all ages, and those seeking peace of heart and mind.

 

All this allows me to hear from you in our initial discussion what you would like from a treatment and how best to meet your needs. I listen carefully to my clients, focusing on their physical, emotional, spiritual and mental states to determine how best to help them.  We will discuss your particular issues from a metaphysical viewpoint, if you desire, which can be empowering and clarifying.

 

My mission is to help you feel as relaxed and peaceful as possible, so during a treatment you will be lying on a massage table in your own comfortable clothing.  I will move around your body gently touching different areas with various levels of gentle pressure, feeling areas of muscular or “energetic” congestion, and encouraging the proper flow of your own energy through your body.  We are all made up of moving energy, even though our bodies appear static.  I feel this energy in your body almost as flowing water; my role in our session is to remind and assist the energy or “Qi” (chi) in your body and being to return to its natural and proper course for your highest experience of health and harmony in your life.

                                                                                                                                                                    
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a gentle, hands-on healing art, which involves the channeling of energy through the hands for the purpose of offering healing to the spirit. This imbues you with the sense that you are well and in a harmonious state. The experience of this state is reflected in the body, and can have the effect of healing the body. Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "universal life energy". Reiki balances the receiver on all levels of being — physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki may aid in relieving stress, emotional trauma, physical pain, and illness, and promotes a sense of soothing balance, revitalization, and harmony.  All of my work is appropriate for adults, children and pets.

 

Our session would conclude with any feedback from you and discussion of what I experienced in the session that might be of value to you.  I may share with you a simple but effective Medical Qi Gong breathing technique, or show you an acupressure point that you could be aware of and gently use over the coming days to assist your energy flow. As an intuitive channel, I will also share any information I may have received during the course of your session.

 

A series of energywork healing treatments can be transformational.  When we are reminded of our truly natural state of being, we are also reminded of our connection to all of life and the Universe, and the loving feeling inherent in that connection, through which all healing happens.

Cancellation Policy:

 

1.  If you need to cancel an appointment, please call by 5 PM the day before your appointment, so that I have an opportunity to fill that time.

 

2.  If you call the same day of your appointment, and I am not able to fill that time, you will be responsible for 1/2 the session fee the first time of a same-day cancellation.

 

3.  For any subsequent same-day cancellations, if your time cannot be filled, you will be responsible for the entire session fee. 

 

4.  Please phone rather than email, if you need to cancel.  Emergencies understood.
